School and cell phones..
I don't see why teachers should take cell phones away from students. It really makes no sense I mean let me explain my situation. It was a free day yesterday, if you weren't doing your exam review you could do whatever you want. So I go and use my Sidekick when the asshole teacher says "Sean give me that I'm gonna need to take that" I'm like wtf. Anyone think this is ridiculous?

" you can not use your cellphone in school, except when you are not doign anything"
kids would just get caught, say they 're not doing anything, and then refuse to give up the phone
you really have to ask the teacher, like now as im in Gov Honors, nto doing anything talking on the net, my teacher would let me go on the cell (mostly cause he doesnt care...
just ask next time they may say yes,.?

yeah so my school is a little chill with it actually.. it depends on the teacjer that you have. some may say its okay just put it away and some may say hey ask me if you want to use it.. or some may say BITCH GIVE ME YOUR PHONE..LOL

i use mine no matter what. just put it on vibrate. if they ask to have your phone just leave class.
The only time I use mine during school is when I'm texting someone and I put it on vibrate then. If you get caught they take your hpone and you have to get it after school. But I'm done with school Tuesday so I don't have to worry about that bullshit anymore.

schools are cracking down on cellphones because dumbasses always forget to put it on vibrate or silent and it rings in class. Sometimes i wish there was a crackdown on cellphones in college cause i hear phones ring atleast 5 times in lectures and its really annoying.
Cellphones weren't around when I was in school, lol. Ok, a few were but they were the size of a cinder block. Could imagine having this in your backpack....

Who would you wanna call while youre in class anyways? All of your friends your age would be in class at the same time.. I dont really see a need for it, but most of my teacher's this year didnt really care.
At my old school if your cell phone went off in class it was an automatic three day suspension and they were real serious about it. I see the need to enforce some sort of rule, but three days suspension for a cell phone going off on the first offence is pretty much bullshit
