ultra vac question

I'm just gettin into skimming and want to start wave skimming. I think im gonna go with a vic ultra vac. Is this a good choice if I'm still gonna be sand skimming or should i go with a wedge if im gonna be sandskimming too.

if you get the vic make sure you don't get one too big. they get to be boats with the bigger sizes.

The Ultra Vac is a good option if you are looking to start wave riding and it will still be alot of fun to ride on flat sand. How much do you weigh? You might also want to check out the Zap Pro and Sol Pin Large. Hope that helps.

ultra is going to be a good board to start on. i started on the ultra and it worked great. it has a proven shape with just cheaper materials.great beginner board imo.
