holy shit, thatll take a while to fix itself.
Reports from Reef Road say it can't even hold the swell there. It is washing over the road.

Shit on a stick. I just looked at the same thing when I woke up. That whole beach is fracked up. That house or whatever looks to be leaning, and all the stairs, and the Lifeguard tower are GONE. Shit...
Theres supposed to be some swell here today, hopefully ours wont look as messy as that shit...

they r doing absurd tow ins at PH.
Purple Snakes
Yea I saw that on the cam

the inlet was on the news last night. They brought that crane in to try to save the life guard station. They drove that steel piling in and were going to do more but ran out of time. We are still 2 hours off of high too. That shit could get washed out.

Anyone have any pictures of this swell besides webcam shots?
Now we really can do tow-ats with pats car.
-Jeff
Damn. Thats pretty mackin. +1 for the pictures.
The surf seems to be a bit windy, but the wave looks nice.
get ready for nasty storms thats all i have to say
la nina is a bitch this year, the tornados the thunder storms and now this noreaster are all rutheless for this time of the year, mootha nature is not playing.
Damn those waves look huge...
Down here its big but really messy, our beach just cant handle this kind of swell.
yeah i feel bad but seriously glhf trying to skim that anytime in the next week the steepness will prolly be rap-ed
we just went through that to a lesser extent like two weeks ago and we're just startin to get our slope back (in part because they are bull dozing all the sand that got washed into the parking lot back onto the beach.
This taken from weather.com
Along with the thunderous waves, minor to major beach erosion and coastal flooding has also been documented. Coastal overwash has spilled on top of U.S.12 in the Outer Banks and portions of the road were at one point impassable. Major beach erosion and coastal flooding was also reported in Jupiter, Florida. The National Weather Service out of Miami reported a life guard office and garage were washed into the ocean and about 100 feet of coast has been eroded. The road leading to Jupiter Inlet has since been closed.
