    Default skiming by moonlight..

Is this a bad idea? As summer draws near, i know some of my friends like to have bonfires quite regularly and the beaches are well lit when the moon is near full.

not really unless its like Aliso/cabo shorebreak. If its mellow shin high waves it should be cool.

I do it when there is hardly any wind or west winds and it is warm. The beach i normally skim as lights and you can somewhat see the waves coming in. You eventually start timing it instead of being able to see them. Its fun as hell, just worry about losing your board
