We stayed just after sunset. The lifeguard dropped by when he was leaving and I found it was one I was good friends with. He was hoping we got some sunset pics because the way the spray looked when the orange sun hit it. So I got that one pic. Pretty nice.

Nah I think you'd call it trough skim if you were there with me. Some of those waves, like the BS wraps, just closed out because it was troughy, but really dumpy. Love that thick, clean lip on troughy waves.

Seriously bum, I got one FS spray today, and pulled a Derek Makekau and just looked at it. It had a sort of pattern to it and fell in unison. Felt like I could just... skim forever. Forever.

Not El Porto. Not El Segundo. Not Dockweiler. Not Destin, no seriously I remember it does remind me of that jetty in Destin. Brickle, it's not Wedge, so close I know. Not much a sider, but it can push a real fun liner if you know what's up. Thanks for the positive comments.

For the guy who said you haven't seen LA that good in a while, I would like to ask you how the rock your living under has been?

EDIT: and for GREYskim, like I said the waves were closing out as it was troughy, and that wave did but I got a sick layback spray on the end of it. those ones where you just lay down after and not get up. yeeahh...
