The gravity will have much better trucks, Same quality deck (suposedly they get their wood from the same place), and not as good wheels. I think Sector Nine has better wheels, but crappy as hell trucks.

maybe even slides depending on wheel softness, but I want them soft enough for a smooth ride. I skate on sidewalks and generally smooth terrain.

gravity bro. trucks and wheels make a hell of a difference but if you want a good board get the gravity. what truck/wheel combo comes stock?

GFH real boards? name a GFH board that beats a gravity? GFH's best/most liked board is the mini pigme, which gravity's BW24 kills.

I'm talking pure decks. I dont buy completes, I build up my own setups. I agree that skateboards are all preference, but I don’t see how a gravity is for beginners. Are you talking price, or composite vs maple? GHF doesn’t have anything original and they make their trucks in china. Skateboards should be all American.

im with auto on this one, i was gonna buy the gfh recluse but chose the gravity dt37 based on quality craftsmanship, company history, etc.

i mean think about it, ask anyone here their opinion on skims and theyll all tell you exile/vic whatever and not wavezone zap. the same thing exists in skating. and i definatey see s9 as a mass producing company more focus on $$$ than a quality product

you may want to work on your reading comprehension. i never said that gf hurleys trucks were good. and if you would have read this a little closer you could infer that i build my own setups as well.

I've been longboarding for years and I just wanted to pick up a mini to cruise around on. I'm gonna go with a sector nine stock not for the quality or the ride, but because I know I can beat it up, ride it every day and not worry about losing it or whatever. I don't have much experience on minis so if i like it I'll upgrade and get into some serious stuff. Thanks for the thread and I'm happy to talk skating with any you. Also, bennets are amazing and I was psyched when I heard they were coming back. those tunnel rocks look awesome but I really wanna try some of those zig zags. (awesome)

Oh, and i'll upgrade to black griptape(the clear crap that sector nine sells is horrible.) and 65mm for a better ride. I really do like sector nines wheels, never had any complaints with them.

i have the z-flex jimmy plumer and its held up good even though with INSANE skating.

and i think the best yet wheels are kryptonics 78a really smooth and grippy and if your into slidding and doing hard cutbacks and such i think they are the perfect wheels for it

gonna go out on a limb here, but I'm pretty sure when they were a small company they were also looking for dough. When a company stops looking for dough, they usually go out of business. Keep your communist garbage to yourself, kthx.
