Stop Skimboarding

Yeah....6-7months here. Try living in Michigan. Many tend to stop when the snow comes; I, however, stop when the lake freezes. Yeah I am going crazy waiting for those damn icebergs to melt!

yeah the longest ill go is like 5 days because there isn't a good tide, or its windy or some thing along those lines. but there is usually good skim somewhere up here you just have to find it.

This is the longest I've gone without skimming in weeks... Almost 26 hours... I'm going to lose it.
Anything beyond this seems like a bad idea.

I go to school all week except for monday, then work 10-5 on the weekends, leaving only monday open to skim, with usually sub-par conditions. Daylight savings adds a little time, but I cant wait for the summer.

until last week, i hadnt been since october. given im 4 hrs from home (PC) and no one will go to vilano to skim with me on a weekend when its cold.

edit: oh yeah. since i hadnt been in so long, i was awful when i got out over spring break.

What is wrong with you people most i have gone with out skimming is 2 days, If i go three days with out skimming my nipples turn yellow and they start to burn.

wow im actually having that problem right now, im shaking, dreaming about skimboarding, and walking around the house without a reason because im desperate for some good skim!! im afraid i wont survive another week without catching up some waves

if I go like 5-8 days I start shaking, then around day 9 I get a terrible itch, around day 12 I start foaming, and at day 14 I start to fall out.

Its not the stopping skimming I have a problem with...

Its going on vacation to FL and getting a little bit of something something and then going back home to nowheresville... I was going nuts for the first week after I got back; getting the gitters, trouble sleeping, all I could think about was getting some skim... It's warm enough to go skim on the lake now... But I am thinking I'll hold out for my CA trip in a couple of weeks...
