one thing thats bothering me is the back pad is just a teeensy bit to far up. it feels weird when i hold the board. i guess im not just used to it. i bought Will Chan's old board and it was sooooooooo fracking perfect and amazing that i just HAD to buy another slotty when it snapped. my skimming got like 20 times better since i bought a slotty.

the sticker is from skimcity. i didn't want the same skimcity sticker everyone else had so i went with this one.

baby blue always looks like secks

I agree, but I would have moved it apart a little in the front part. But yeah....it looks good to me too.

Speaking of retro... Just picked this baby up off of the ebay:

    Made on 5-1-1990

Oh, and all you wankers posting pictures of those retro J-Gordon boards. Yeah... He owes you commission. I just got off his site after placing an order for one after seeing all those sweet looking boards.

    Current Family Photo:

J-Gordon just showed up today... Thank you sir. This old man can't wait to try it out this weekend. Waiting on that old Vic, should be here next week. All are ready for a fresh coat of wax to be applied. Picked up the Carbon Fiber wave zone on a whim. Was selling on ebay as a new "second". Price was right, so figured what the heck. Worst case, I don't like it, and it will make some kid a good board. Has a steep curve to it and should probably do well in the chop we have up here in the north east. We'll see....

The tailpad on your Vic needs to be moved way back! You aren't going to have any control wrapping or riding with it that far up. You want to move it as far back as possible so you can take control of your whole board. It'll help tons.

Sadly, I realize that now. Waiting for the replacement pad so I can take that one off and put a new one on...

Try a hairdryer, (don't get the board too hot though) and pull the pad up real slow........then put it on wax paper if you don't have another board to put it on.
