I sold the boards to east coast skimboards, so I had a store credit and I got the domke.

I am going to keep skimming, I didnt think of waiting. I just am overstoked and skimboarding has gotten stuck in my head.

Yeah but dude, you don't need two boards. Especially at your age/level. You just got a brand new voyager and now have a Domke shape? The rocker on that board is not going to help you at all at your level.

Yeah, I got the domke though because when I was thinking about getting an exile dude! cruise 6 months ago, skim city Greg told me that exiles have too much rocker for the east coast and you should get a domke rocker. I just took his advice.

If you count both apexs it would be 3 if you counted the fish only because I didn't ride the original almost at all that would be 2. If you count my current boards it would be between 3-5, it matters how you view apex and if you count current boards. I "went" through 1 high end board unless you view apex different than me. If you count my current boards it would be 3

Foamie, egg, boom, apex fish, apex original, zap voyager, exile domke now.
Out of those I liked # 3 and 4 I will see about the voyager and domke but I should like them.

but on the real, why not just stick with one basic shape? hybrid exile or something along those lines from any company. not to be a dick, but you're still learning, and switching from board to board (four to five boards in six months? that's more than i've had in six years) is only holding you back. board's ride different, which means a new board takes time to get used to. plus, at the level you are now, you won't even be able to notice or take advantage of the differences in shapes. right now, buying one board over another, or one rocker over another, is not going to help you improve at all.

I didn't count the original, it was a piece of garbage and wasnt a great board for me. You confused me when you said high end.

Now... I'm fairly new hear but let me see if I can get this right.... You find out you suck so you get a new board and that cycle keeps going and going. What happens when you find out it's not the boards fault?

I lol'd because im in the same position as you.

Anyway, a couple months ago i saw a video of little kids in the Philippines making boards from wood, going out and shredding the waves. Im sure if they could get a hold of an d e-glass they would ride it till it cant be repaired anymore. That video displays a great passion for skimboarding for me, they didnt go out buying boards, they used what they had and still got up on the waves.
