I got ripped off

I bought what i was told a zap Carbon comp from a local shop,I thought it seemed a little heavy from carbon so i emailed zap.Turns out the board is a eglass the owner of the shop sold me the board. I bought the board about 8 months ago. Anything i can do or is it to late ? I feel like going back beating the shit out of the guy.

you could know what youre buying before you buy it... that always helps. Otherwise probably nothing. 8 months is a long time to wait.

did you pay the price of a carbon or not ? if you did then goget the difference back... just explain the situation calmly and the guy shouldnt have a problem . you would need a receipt or something though.

have you used the board yet??? if so then i dont think ur gonna get a carbon.
they might give you the difference of the Carbon and Eglass tho.

Yea i payed for a carbon it was $432 after tax.If i payed for a eglass then there wouldnt be a problem.

If the guy doesn't want to help you. I would take a pic of the board and send it to Zap ask if they would write a letter to that shop tell him to give you the difference, and ask for a copy of his letter to take in with you. It's better if your young to take one of your parents with you, good luck!

The owner of liquid dreams hates me...We don't get along....I wouldn't trust buying a bar of wax from him...

I buy my skim-boards from salty dogs surf shop.....when I got my carbon...they gave me a big hook up...They called zap and even got the board i asked for....I'll be working their part time this summer if you want a local hook up....ask for James....

I've gotten a carbon zap Egg, carbon comp, and boomhower board from their...and everytime a hook up.....they don't keep any carbons in stock...you would have to order it...
