looks like gulf waves tomorrow boys... with monday being the day. tuesday will have waves but probably rainy as hell. I know we are gonna be flooded with east coasters because of their horrible flat spell. but let them come, they deserve it.

yesterday morning had some really fun/glassy skim in grayton beach. they were lining up nicely. it was the first time in like 10 days. around noon though the wind started coming out of the south and it fracked everything up though.

Jim, trust me I have no problem with easters coming over here. As much as we go over there I think they have a right to travel our way, I'm glad to have them. I just think there will be many tomorrow and monday because of the flat spell you guys have been having.
I might try to make it out on Monday for a bit. I'll be in Pinellas Park for a meeting all morning, but should be out by 4 or so. I might session for an hour or so before heading back out to Lakeland....

I hit up sand pebble this afternoon for some skim. I started checking at Sand Key and worked my way south. Sand Bags had some sick hollow super long lines peeling, but was small. Probably thigh at best... Sand Pebble was a mess. Not lining up at all, and very mushy. But I was running short on time, so I went out anyways... I'm not going to lie, I was only able to get a few rides. I was side slipping like a mother fracker and it was taking everything I had to make it out to the waves, and once I got there, I would run out of juice... Caught a few though, and it was my first time being out since my lasik surgery, so I was just stoked to be out at all...
When I was at mana I had the same problem for a while. I was running as fast as I could and side slipping or pumping and doing whatever I could and then once I did reach wave I would have nothing left. Sometimes I was getting out then the wave would break and smack me in the chest and take me out. After a while I started dropping deeper and could get out much easier tho and nokomis was alot easier to get to once I got there.
