looking at a $700 package here, im not to worried about the cash; because honestly, all I want to buy is a new skimboard and it will cost me around $250 for it. Anyway; therefor, I am willing to take $250 if anyone is interested for this whole package. nearly 1/4 the price In store without tax!!!!

Rockford Punches are amazing subs, If you were to compare alpines to rockfords sound wise, The rockford would win (Type S to p1/p2 Type R to p3)

you're saying that p1's would sound better than type s's? haha. not even close dude. and where are you getting 700$ from? pis are like 70$ each, so that's 140$. kenwood's only 1000 @ 4Ohm is only 270$, and the box would have been about 70$ max. i'm not sure why exactly your amp kit cost you 110$, but you can get a streetwires 4ga kit for 40$. that's 450$, and you could get it for around 400$ new if you bought it all together. rockfords can't compare to alpines.

with your price of $270 for amp(not including the $30 I spent on the Gain controller), 140 for subs, 60 for kit, 99 for box its 570+7% tax= 609.90 Either way you look at it your getting a $600 New system for $250.. Its a good deal, id think?

we're not talking about Type S. the premier shallows are nice, but in no way do they compare to a w3. i had two in my truck before i mounted my elemental designs and they sounded good a lower volumes but the second you turned the gain up above half(600w) they began to sound like shit. really really muddy.

I dont knwo why you guys are comparing p1's to any of these. I am selling a Basically New system for hundreds less. No theyare not competition subs. But for the guy who wants to spend less than $500 on a hole system this is a good deal. and im sure you will agree with me..

oh, and ken, since you're a car audio buff, i guess you would know that most guys that actually make a hobby out of mobile audio equipment are not doing it to be "loud." they are doing it to achieve the best quality of sound possible. that's why SQL competitions are so much more entertaining to go to than SPL competitions. who cares who can hear your music a block away. it doesn't mean shit if it doesn't sound good inside your vehicle.
