actually i take that back. my computer went nuts when i did it and opened like 15 boxes and completely froze up. but i'm blaming it on my old-ass computer not you aaron.

hold down control, then hit N once and a new window pops up in firefox or IE

... nah. it opens up my home page in a new firefox window

then your computer/version of firefox is fracked. I downloaded the newest version of firefox to be sure before I posted. Alternatively go to file>new window (you will see the ctrl+N shortcut right there beside it)
