    holly shit this is hardcore. i'd just tell the guy that we made a mistake and that we would send him a bill charging him .002 cents. the guy has a crazy point. he's really spittin the shit around 8:00. I just got done listning to the whole thing. the guy clearly stated his point and used many different examples why he wasn't billed properly. i still don't know if the people at verizon understand. i have verizon but the people are such dickheads. all they worry about is selling you a product/plan then they could give a shit less about you after you step out of the building. personally i hate verizon but i'm not paying the bill.

    Well I think Verizon is mistaken and they were meant to charge him $.002 I cant imagine them billing him 71 cents.. but I dont know. Im not much into bytes and shit..

    He really didn't help his own case too much. The last chick kept saying "But we're talking about cents." All he had to say was, "You're right, so lets keep it in that unit of measure - cents. .002 cents times 35900KB = 71.8 cents."

    He was making it much more complicated than it needed to be, especially knowing how dumb they are to make that mistake in the first place.
    There's a good chance you've handled my ass-pennies. That gives me the edge.

    he had her when she calculated that 1 cent x 100 kbs would be $1. All he had to say then was "is .002 cents less than one cent? Yes? Then if you're charging me .002 cents per kilobyte, how could my bill come out to MORE than if you were only charging me 1 cent per kilobyte?" Then instead of resisting his rhetoric (because obviously she just thought he was a bumbling fool), she might have realized something was really wrong and looked to find the difference herself.

    "there is no such thing as .002 dollars" hahahaha omg i wouldve found some way to reach through the phone and stab that chick in the throat. But I guess thats why she works at Verizon, because she probably was too smart for Office Depot.

    the sad part is, some people will actually listen to that conversation and not understand what that dude is talking about. ugh, so sad.

    that is hilarious. there is no way i would have stayed that calm. i hate dealing with cell phone companies. i went into the verizon store with my cousin b/c her phone wasn't working properly. when we walked in, there was a guy with a clipboard and we had the following conversation:
    him-- "hi, welcome to verizon. are you here to buy a new phone today?"
    us-- "no. her phone isn't working so we just need to get it checked out."
    him (looking very confused)-- "so would you like to get a new phone?"
    us-- "no, thanks.... we're just here to get her phone fixed"
    him-- "so you don't need a new phone?"
