    Default Last minute.

I'm about to order my Carbon Exile and I'm SUPER stoked, but I just have some last minute questions. I'm 5' 7 and 145 pounds. Should I go with a medium or a med/small? I want some growing room but at the same time, i dont what a huge boat that will hold me back.

I was in your situation, but I'm like 5'10 and 130 lbs, and I needed a board to have room for growing, so I went with the medium. I wish I had gotten Med/Sm in the short run, but in the long run, I'll be set.

but I also skim the gulf, so a bigger board is better for weaker waves

I'd say med/smll. mostly because of your height

It also factors in how good of a skimmer you are.

Well as of now, I'm leaning towards the med/small. If anything, itll motivate me to become a better skimmer.

I've had my m/s for the past three years (but only skim summers) and it works fine for me. Couple dings here and there but nothing major, keeps floating me out and im 144.

I would go with the m/s. Either way though, it's not like theres a huge difference in the two.
