i remember this. they were developing it to give them away free for 3rd world countrys like africa. so they too can fap to the warm glow of internet boobs.

i saw a show where a guy who owned a bank in a poor region of India installed a computer connected to the web in the wall of his bank, accessable from the outside. kids would come and try and figure it out, how to use it, etc. the amazing thing was that kids started to get interested in things, wanted to grow up and become doctors, lawyers, computer programmers, etc, where it was typical for kids to only see basic labor and farming in their futures. the web is an equalizer in many ways.
