    Default What did you workout today?

    This is inspired by the 'creatine' thread.....i was surprised by how many people on here work out.....or at least type like they do. So.....what did you workout today (or the last time you trained) and what did you do?

    Me:
    Back today

    1. 7 minutes of cardio
    2. narrow grip pull-ups (v grip)
    3. cable row
    4. uni-lateral pull downs
    5. bent over dumbell rows (80 with consecutive 40lb drop set)
    6. and cable stiff arm pull downs

    all 4 sets, 3rd and 4th to failure.
    then one ab exercise, forearms, stretched.....done.

    i do 5-10 pullups every time i come in and out of my office. only because i don't want to take the time to really do a 30 minute workout.

    I did a crew workout yesterday.

    you do 6 sets of the exercises for 40 seconds each, 20 seconds rest between them. Totalling 30 minutes. So today I am really sore.

    I worked out Back and some shoulders, and I went to do abs but I was too sore to finish the workout.

    did stupid ass drills
    ran around a mat bout 400 times
    got yelled at alot
    have to loose 2 lbs so i cant eat or drink ne thing afterwards
    all with a sweatshirt on in a 90 degree room for 2 hrs
    high school wrestling sucks

    i saw a true life about wrestling and the dude was spitting in a cup all day long at school. i couldn't do that shit. he lost like 2 or 3 lbs doing that though.

    my mouth waters at all the food commercials

    20 lbs in a month? sounds a little bit unhealthy.

    you could just not watch tv, my cable got shut off so now im stuck with a blank screen on my tv...sad, but i don't really care anymore. I BEAT TV!!

    i have highschool basketball every day of the week plus saturdays so that could count as 2 hours of cardio

    Back and Cardio

    I would give you the break down of the back workout, but I'm not as cool as dale and as a result, don't know the names of half the shit I do... I can tell you though that for cardio I did the eleptical machine. I love that machine, although I was planning on running tonight (I usually alternate) but all the treadmills were being used and I didn't feel like waiting...

    yeah I've given up on everything but the elliptical & stairmaster. Well I guess that just leaves the bike & treadmill, but I refuse to do either.

    so ironic, today was my first time working out in a year(other than skimming) i didnt read the whole thread but just seeing the title "creatine" and something clicked in my head.
    when i was in high school this was my average weekly workout in excessive detail.

    monday:
    -light half-mile jog
    -15mintues of dynamic streching(walking lunges, running leaps, airkicks, machineguns)
    -2 x 400m sprint
    -6 x 150m accelerators
    -400m sprint
    -4 x 200m stride
    -400m sprint
    -4 x 300m cutdowns
    -mile jog
    -calestetics
    -skim

    tuesday:
    -bench press, squats, tricep ext, various other lifts.
    -mile jog
    -dynamic strecthes
    -6 smith drills
    -bleacher runs for 10mintues
    -mile jog
    -calestetics
    -skim

    wednsday(puke day):
    -half mile jog
    -stretch
    -400m sprint
    -6 x 600m strides, sprinting the first 200m under 27sec, finish with a time under 1:40. in i didnt make the times i had to do it again. each time having to beat my previous.
    -4 x 150m pacers in a set time under 20secs, had to be within 1 sec of that time(not slower, not faster) or i had to do it again.
    -2 x 200m strides under 30secs
    -1.5 mile jog
    -calestetics

    thursday:
    -lifts
    -half mile jog
    -strecth
    -4 mile jog
    -4 x 100m strides
    -skim

    friday:
    -skim

    saturday:
    -skim

    sunday:
    8 - 10 mile jog

    summertime:
    -daily 3mile jog
    -kickboxing
    -skim

    pushups
    pull ups
    surgical tubing exercises
    sit ups
    6000 yards of swimming (a little less than 2 hours)
