I have been riding since i was like 7 so i guess u could say i'm pretty good. I think i'm going to try skiing this winter because everyone and their brother snowboards and i just think it's cooler to be riding with twin tips and doing shit that most skiers don't do. I donno i'll c how it goes then take it from there. i am hoping to get a job as part of the park and pipe crew this winter. lookin forward to it.

and yes, I started in 95 but I haven't been the last 2 seasons. Last time I went I wasn't as good at airs as when i was younger but still was pretty decent.

I ski mostly and am just starting to snowboard. I'm doing this to ride the park mainly. Once i get good at boarding it will be boarding in the park, skiing every where else.

heres a good twin tip video

where are you located? Are you going to be mainly riding powder? park? backwoods? apps? rockies? All that comes into play.

I got a 151 K2 Rally Sport in 97, I was 5'10", 155 lbs. I got that size b/c I was planning a trip to Breckenridge w/in a month of getting it and didn't want to go too small, but I knew majority of its use would be on east coast. I soon got up to about 175 lbs and the board has been well suited for park, backwoods, and east coast riding. Little short for powder though.

Your gonna want an all around board for the poconos. I have a house up in the catskills in NY, I ride Belleayre quite a bit, and been out to Whistler BC twice. Theres so many good boards out there to focus on just one, but make sure you go with all around cause the conditions over here are never consistent. I ride a 158 atomic alibi and i fracking love it. And do whatever you want with the skiing thing, but I dont know why you would want to switch over from snowboarding.

twin tippin is sick as hell. i strongly suggest that idea. not that hate snowboarding, just that i hate snowboarders that dont appreciate skiiers. ITs good to see more twin tippers

why would u start snowboarding just so u can go in the park if u can already ski? i dont see the point in switching between the 2 just to go one place or another.

Mainly because of the advantages of a board vs skis in the park. I'll always ski everywhere else though, becuae of its advantages. I tried skiing park didn't work out so well. Maybe if I get good at boarding the park i'll switch back over to skiing park. No disrespect to twin tippers. i actually think it looks sicker, but is not for me right now.

Also I forgot to say go to conscript in this link to see a sick twin tip video
