Default New Music Thread for Nov 28/06

    Another thread about new tunes..

Check out the new one from Incubus - Light Grenades.
They're still playing at a similar style to "CLOTM" but more of the tracks on this one will appeal to those who loved "Morning View"
    5/5

The new k-os album - atlantis: hymns for disco
Very solid beats, all the songs are gauranteed to get you moving even if you're name is stephen hawking.
    4/5

    James Morrison - Undiscovered
Amazing. If you are a fan of John Mayer like vocals, some catchy (but not expert) guitar work, then check this dude out. Probally one of the better male artists I have heard in years.
    4.5/5

    listening to :

The hard road - hilltop hoods. - sooo sick . 10/5.

mobb deep - havent gotten fully through it yet but its not too bad at all. 3/5 for now

The foundation - Geto boys - pretty sick , scarface is officially with them now , its sick . good beats , some pretty meaningful lyrics coming out of these gangsta rappers. 4.5/5

laugh now , cry later - ice cube - not too shabby , very old icecube feeling . havent listened to it much but its pretty good.3.5/5 so far.

anyways , that stuff isnt really new but I've just downloaded it recently . Can anyone direct me to a torrent of the new jay z cd ? I cant find the fracking thing.

The new Me First and the Gimme Gimmes album is great. Their cover of On The Road Again is amazing.

I didnt' know what to think either. I decided it's great, but not just not what I was expecting it to be like. Anyways I will be seeing them next in January in New Orleans.

i'm a big volta fan (well, a big fan of de-loused, the last two weren't nearly as good), but i've never been a fan of at the drive-in, until i was driving my brother's car recently, he had "relationship of command" in the cd player and it's actually a really sick album, i'm still not into their other stuff that i've heard, but this album is great, anyone who likes volta should check it out
