    Default What are you riding?

Just thought it would be fun to see what everyone is riding in one thread. So shoot away: Brand, materials, thickness, size, your experience level, riding style, riding conditions, how long you've had it, how big you are (height and weight), and what you think of it. Oh, and some pictures would be nice if you have them too!

I can start off with mine: currently riding an OLD (more than 10 years) Vic board that I've had since high school. I'm not sure the model or materials since I've had it so long. It is also undersized for me. I am 6'3 185lbs and the board is 53.25"x20.25". However, this will be soon to change. I'm looking at getting a new Vic Poly XL size. Still debating on whether or not to upgrade to S-glass, epoxy, etc, or just stick with polyester E-glass. Too many choices if you ask me! I don't have any pictures, but it's light blue so just imagine the most amazing-looking sky-blue board you can think of and you've got it

I would stay away from E-glass and polyester (both are weak) go for epoxy with either S-glass or carbon. And you might want to try a fish shape (I really love fish skims & surfboards) all the major skim companies now make them. They are shorter which makes it turn faster and fuller shape so they plane good too. The fish tail also works like twin pintails, so the board really holds in turns (like it's on rails). But because the tail is wide, it's loose like a retro fish surfboard.......Need I say more? =]

Did you custom order and specify lower rocker? Do you know exactly what the rocker is, front and back?

Dude Cruise. Really fun when I'm in Seabright. Not so well suited for LBI. Probably going back to a hybrid in the near future.
