Question MEDIUM WEDGE vs LARGE WEDGE

I've read tons of posts on the Zap wedge on here, but none of them had the direct answer I was looking for.

When others ask about the wedge medium vs. the wedge large, pretty much 90% of the time, the answer is that the wedge large is better for wave riding.

But that's for people around 5'6" and 150lbs. I'm 5' and 110lbs, and I'm wondering which size would be better for me (for both beginner wave riding and sand sliding).....

Look at the size charts and go from there. You are a feather so I'd guess a small or medium board should be plenty big.

Good luck even picking up the large wedge. Go with something smaller than the medium wedge

The size of a board itself does not dictate its suitability for a particular riding condition. You have to take into consideration the size of the rider. There is no such thing as one size being absolutely better for something for all riders. If you are small, a smaller board will be better for you, and if you are large, a larger board will suit you better. Would you believe someone if they told you a size 14 shoe was better than a size 10 for hiking? If you have size 10 feet, then of course you would get size 10 shoes. Same thing goes for skimboards.
