    Default Carbon or Not

Hey, I was wondering how to tell if a skimboard is double carbon or not? I know some skimboards such as the white and black you can tell easily by the dots(weave) i guess but on other colors, I cant seem to find that patern. Is there another way? Thanks.

Can you explain both? Because I want to buy a board but I dont want to get ripped off thinking its carbon when its not.

You should buy from a reputable skim dealer who wont rip you off!

on exiles you can see the edge of the carbon coming out on the rail. it looks like a black line. on most other brands you cant really tell a lot of the time. and distinguishing double carbon from carbon is nearly impossible unless you break the board.

Look in the for sale section here or used section on exile's site.

Hi..!, carbon is a lot stiffer than others reinforcement, well at least in skimboarding industry.... So just push the nose to the ground trying it to feel the stiffness of the board...

I guess you're talking about standing on the board on the sand or grass, just to check how much flex it has......right?
