Default Victoria Ultra vs. Exile Recruit (Hybrid)

Ok, I couldn't find any threads about this so I'm gonna post it. Between these two boards, which one is overall the better board? Which is more buoyant and faster. They don't seem to have too many differences. And they also seem to be in the affordable-but-pro shaped category. I've ridden my friend's Ultra, and I really liked it, but I'm curious about the Recruit. Give me your opinions!

i have an s-glass hybrid and i love it. i actually like the hybrid shape better than the "pro shaped boards." Try to get a chance to ride someones hybrid next time you see one at the beach. thats always the best way to decide what board to get.

I had a ultra... It broke in 2 months. My friends bougth the same board at about the same time and they are all buying new boards now cuz theirs broke too. I Just bought a recruit... Hybrid. Its like 247632588556886 times lighther than the ultra, its stiffer and seems much more durable and i really love it.

If you want a board that's easy to paddle in on make sure you get 3/4" thickness. Recruits can be made with 3/4" for no extra charge.
