    Default stealth camping

after spending 2 months last year living out of a van sleeping on the streets around newport/laguna, im planning on returning for a 2 week stint in september with just a packpack n me skim with high hopes of homeless stylin camping around the beaches like west st or more secluded spots.
would just like to know your opinions if this do-able or not? and stuff like-

    -police checking beaches,

-chances of being attacked by gnarly wildlife while sleeping,

-am i just high off my head to even think about doin this?

    cheers fellas

why don't you just stay with someone down here for cheap..I'm sure a lot of skimmers on here are looking for a temporary roomy or are down for someone to stay with them in exchange for household chores/rent

Met an awesome homeless guy living under the tower at Aliso a few years ago who said he'd been there for years and always welcomed other nomads.
    And then?

some of the other homeless down here won't take kindly to others in their space - not that they can do that much but just an fyi (someone i know intentionally went homeless for a few weeks also and other homeless people were the biggest problem).

if you bring cigarettes and booze the bums will welcome you with open arms.

hold your breath because the minute they open those arms a wicked stench is going to infiltrate your senses and make you question your very existence...the point is why would you want to be welcomed by bums in the first place

ive never heard squatting/ going homeless called "stealth camping," but i know a few guys that might like the term.

mini-hijack: who is the funniest homeless person youve ever crossed paths with? this guy came into a club in gainesville and was nice enough. didnt scare the women off at first sight. said his name was engine head red and he was headed to tennessee in his '67 coupe-de-nashville. wondering if we had any spare change or kind words for his journey.

never saw him again so maybe he made it

seriously that video is hilarious. if you can tolerate offensive humor (basically if you like south park) and can stomach some minor human rights violations, watch it.

in a roundabout way, it got me to this video. reminds me of so many frat stars in school. especially law students. hate the commentary by the people filming it, but good vid.

ha ha yeah i figured! i got the coin to survive, just thought it would be cool to crash on the beach as il be down there all day everyday neway, plus be saving around $100 a day by not renting a campervan. pretty common thing to do back home but not the same it seems over here i guess!

also last august before i left for home i donated my yellow/green exile recuit, sponge and fins to jacks boardshop in newport, just wondering if anyone picked up the board and if by some longshot chance they want to sell it back to me

dude seriously knew every corny joke in the history of the english language. He would have had his own tv show in the fifties.
