Default reviews on wave zone the fly

ok guys so im new to wave skimbaording and just want to know if a wave zone "the fly" is an alright board. I talked to the dealer of the shop and he said it will work out just fine, and it's a little cheaper than something like a zap. I am looking to advance in to riding waves and just want to make sure i picked the right board

I wouldn't say you picked the right board... it's your call though

On this message board there is a bunch of hate on wavezones. The shape dosent look to terrible so just make the best of it.

Spring the extra money for a Zap, well worth it.
    You've got that nasty bounce.

Saw a younger kid skimming with a WaveZone on the island a few weeks ago. I have a carbon Dude Cruise. Little dude was ripping on the WaveZone.

Can I speak to how durable it is? No. But he didn't have any trouble snagging the waves I was snagging. You shouldn't have a problem...don't put too much stock in the board you have...good technique is most of the battle.

Just curious, and I hope this doesn't sound too creepy, but was your Dude Cruise green?
