    Default Beater Boards

I searched and didn't find any thread just talking about them, just threads with them for sale. So, I'm thinking about buying one, and I just wanted to see what people think about them. How fun/easy are they to surf, and is there ever a time when they are good to use for skimming, and are they worth the money?

    Thanks for your opinions!

it's just a sponge with a somewhat surfboard shape. have you ever tried to skim a sponge? that's how they ride. beaker doesn't even make them look good

if that's what you want, you should get one of their other boards. I have their Y-Twin and that thing is a blast in the shorebreak
