Default Vision Epoxy Board by Buddha Custom 53x21x1

Does anyone have any info on this board? I recently purchased it from a small surf shop and the info in the title is all I know about it. I used it on Jekyll Island where the extra float made it great for riding liners, but using it at Vilano I found that riding the large A-frame waves there was particularly difficult.

Just how big is this board and how big are you?

The dimensions are in the title. It weighs in around 4 lbs. It's a textured board and appears to be carbon fiber as well. I weigh about 120 lbs.

That's a pretty large board for a 120 lbs rider. For instance a XL (recommended for 195+) hybrid from Exile would be 53.31"x20.94". Since it's 1" thick it probably feels like a lot of board to turn for you, especially in A-frame Vilano type conditions.

When I bought the board, I knew it would be very large for me, but it was the last board and it was very peculiar to me as I had never heard of Vision or Buddha Custom (besides their surfboards). At a price of $200 for a handcrafted peculiar board, I had to get it. It worked very well in the area where I bought it, but it just wasn't performing at Vilano.

IMO its about 90% Rider and 10% board, for example the kids in the Philippines shred on wooden boards. It may not be the best fit but im sure it can perform!, got any pictures of it?

Yeah, I'll try and put up pictures when I get to a computer. I'm on my phone right now. You have been to Vilano right? Haha, that's one place where the board to rider ratio has to be at least 50/50.

And yes ive been to Vilano and I skimmed it on a board that I was 30lbs overweight on, and it wasn't to bad on.
