    Default Puerto Rico Skim

Hey, does anyone know any spots in puerto rico that are skimmable? Im heading over there for vacation in november, and wondering if I should bring my board. Also, does it cost extra money to ship skimboards?

Where are you going? If you go to Rincon, Sandy beach is a good spot. I believe on the north of the island Isabella is a good one with sand.

you got unica, kikitas and el puerto near you for surf. You may have to do some sand research to skim though, Dorado looks like it's mostly coral. I was in Rincon when I went.

and put your board in a bag and tell em it's a fancy boogie. Just make sure they know it is NOT a surfboard.

When I went to vieques last year I still had my 1k status on united and my skimboard was free. If you go on the airlines website united actually had skimboard listed as not to charge extra for it. I printed that out and took it with me. Hope that helps.

Yeah I agree Dorado is not a good spot for skim on wave riding , but in Sardinera beach in Dorado is more like flat land skim, One good spot that I frequently go is Ocean Park in San Juan and its pretty close to the airport.
