just pick a board. if you're putting this much thought into a board, you probably aren't that good anyway.

Just make an energy drink with one scoop C4, one scoop NoExplode, one scoop Arange Crush, one scoop Hyper, and crush some hydroxy-cut pills into it. Then all you'll need is a peice of drift wood to skim on!

Please don't really do that, I am just kidding! Not sue how naive you are....

I prefer exile, but I have never tried a high end zap..If you are in an area that has both zap and exile retailers, they sometimes lend boards to customers who want to try one of their boards so I would definitely check out that option..also, all that you have to do when applying pads to textured deck is sand the area where the pads are gonna go and wipe the area clean with rubbing alcohol..

Just rub sandpaper on a textured deck to where you are placing it apply traction pads.

Textured is sturdier and grippier IMO

If you go with the Exile get the textured deck.
Both have sufficient float. It's just personal preference on what you want to ride.
I've ridden most boards and I own a Hybrid shape Exile, and a Zap Dagger.
In my case, my Zap has more float and my Exile is faster, but that comes down to shape and other factors.
Competition weight to my understanding compromises durability in the long run(if I'm not mistaken).
Both my boards weigh about the same.
    Hope this helps a bit.
    You've got that nasty bounce.

How can someone say that Exiles don't have much float.......maybe they were riding a board too small. Most boards are either 5/8" or 3/4" thick, so the only thing left is planing surface, which is more or less size.

My zap came apart.... my exile was awesome until it was stolen. Even with a couple pier strikes it never had any problems

Anyone know what the rocker is on the comp carbon like 1 inch 2 inch etc and is the shape more similar to the pro shape of exile or hybrid
