Sam rocker

anyone here ride an exile with the sam rocker. Im confused about what rocker to get the sam or the hybrid

i don't know how he does it. he rides with one of the steepest rocker set ups in skimboarding and rides an extremely tiny board, and yet he gets out to waves farther than some people even dream of. i definitely think you should stick with hybrid rocker or maybe even domke rocker because you skim jersey.
but it's all personal preference, only you can decide whether or not you think that extra rocker will feel good under your feet

yea lucas said it pretty well, i have a domke and his rocker is flatter compared to the hybrid so it helps a lil when the waves aren't breaking so close

I'd say just go with the standard hybrid rocker, you can't really go wrong with it!

The hybrid rocker is a good all around rocker for a multitude of conditions..sam's rocker is a little more than the hybrid, allowing the board to turn quicker and be more manuevarable, but it will lose its speed quicker.. you kind of have to give and take when it comes to rocker, but I ride the hybrid rocker and I love it..

flatter=more speed, less manuevarable
more curved=more manuevarble, less speed (or harder to maintain speed)

My recommendation is that if you have to ask, you should probably get the standard Hybrid rocker. It is the standard for a reason and that reason is that its a really good balanced choice for most riders.

Tweaking it is probably best left for riders who really know what they want, and hence aren't asking about it online.
