Any Newport Skimmers keen to show an Aussie around????

I know, I know ........yet another tourist asking for help, cluttering up the beach and stealing the waves......... Bear with me....

I'm a long time listener, first time caller on the forums and post quite rarely as I enjoy reading the banter rather than joining........and rather than post pointless, repeated, ignorant questions (no offense) I use the search function which many people neglect in the top right of the screen.

Soooooo fellasssssss, im a 23 year bloke who doesnt mind a beer and a skim..........so if there is any Newport area skimmers who will be around from May 21st > 5th June who would be so kind to show a laid back Aussie dude some skim spots? or atleast drop me a text/email/whatever of where you might go for a skim?

I'll be staying in Costa Mesa with another Aussie mate in which we only know of the known skim spots, but you know how it is....the locals seem to always know what beach will break in which swell/wind etc. Plus its always good to share stories with fellow shorebreak enthusiasts.

If anyone has any tips and tricks for the area..Blackball/places to avoid/things to see..Please pass on some suggestions? (sarcasm welcomed).

.....ill be sure to return the favour and a place to stay if anyone heads over to Sydney AUS....which has a decent skim break. Not sure what method is best to get contact details........hit me back.
