Anyone ever seen the show Living Lahaina? Surfing show on mtv a while ago that got cancelled, was wondering if Rusty knew any of the guys on the show, since they apparently were in the same areas of HI.

I don't know any of them. I live in Kihei which is about 1 hour from Lahaina and don't know many people on that side of the island.
That's why Pike & I mostly skim at Makena which is near Kihei.
I know a skimmer named Sean who was on Maui Fever, another mtv show that was shot in Lahaina. He put on the West Side Skim Jam contest in March that I posted pics from.

kannapali was pretty good in fron of the whaler today, only skimmed for a bit but i will be back there saturday and sunday. really steep slope and some nice wraps/down the lines rolling thru
