Shooting at my old highschool

Pretty fracked up, some guy gets fired and comes back the next day and kills the headmaster and apparently (only rumor) a maintenance worker.

Not happy that it happened but I went there and I know how shitty the private administration was, it had holes, it was corrupt. Can't say that I was surprised. Thank God my sister is okay though.

Mine too. My parents are alumni who also worked there in their late 20's. The whole school is so depressed and freaked out. Its a pretty scary situation.

not trying to downplay the tragedy here but i was surprised to learn that these actually happen quite frequently compared to what most people know of. ie v-tech, columbine, etc. prob make good news stories b/c so many people die (poor word choice but im tired) and b/c the shooters were crazies and social outcasts, but in almost all of these cases its actually just relatively "normal" people doing it. just makes me wonder what i would do in a situation like this since there aren't exactly a lot of places to run/hide on a school campus.
