Yea the system isnt fair at times but just think, how can we make it better? If we limit the rep to 1 point per person it would take to long to get an extra square, I think that there should be a feature where we can either not accept rep or not let certain people rep you like the trolls.
Edit:I have gotten more rep lately, I tried to cut down on posts that piss people off and if I am giving advice, it is basically reposts from Jim Gordon or Derik Kent or Chrith etc...

I like to think of SOMB as a job sort of, but not because of working etc. But more so in the aspect that when you first join and act like you run the place...well you will be put in your place. If you show some respect for elders, laugh at their jokes, agree with them when they bitch then you are set.

You just expect everyone to say "Hey! He is a new! Let's suck his dick and show him what SOMB is all about!" frack that.
Back to the analogy, though. Eventually your co-workers will start giving shits about you and you can complain to them about shit and joke on their ugly wife and stuff you couldn't do when you first join. Whats the correlation between Rep and Rep Power? I see some people with very small amounts of rep and alot of power, and also the other way around.

Rep power has to do with the amount of posts you have and how long you've been a member. I don't think rep and rep power have a direct correlation.
