Alabama didn't do shit? Guess you missed some amazing catches that they NEVER complete down field. Game was awesome you ADHD Homers. Is it so hard to believe both defenses are so good? Roll tide.

If it was OSU it would have been even less entertaining.

I would say that doing shit = scoring tds. Get off alabama's dick for two seconds. It was a boring and you don't have to have adhd to not appreciate its lameness. Super lame BCS championship.

I would say doing shit = winning. Both teams have dominant defenses, but keep crying a river about it sucking. People only like high scoring games (ie ADHD) but I love these ridiculous defense games Roll tide!

qft. I can appreciate a good defensive game, but there has to be a spark at some point from LSU to attempt to score some points. I didn't see anything, or the possibility for anything. Maybe it would be more interesting if I was a bama fan to be excited about getting another national title. So many better BCS games this year

i dont care for either teams but i hate alabama. They have annoying fans...ROLL DAMN TIDE our mascot is and elephant and were called the crimson tide!! I just read the reason behind all that and it's just as stupid as the fans so i dont need a hard core alabama fan explaining it to me. This game was boring, the same stuff happened almost every time alabama touched the ball, i dont understand how they could get into the red zone so easily but go 3 and out everytime and kick field goals all day . Baylors bowl game and oregons bowl game were much more exciting to watch.

Haha, queue the world tiniest violin. I love how but hurt everyone is over the SEC and Bama. Last time I checked the BCS Championship is to determine who the best is, not who can put on the best show. Bama made a hell of a statement.

they def did, but I agree that the game was boring as hell. run up the middle, run up the middle, hey lets run a draw, nope lets run up the middle run up the middle run up the middle

we could run a sweep but why do that we can just run up the middle run up the middle

Bama coach- lets line up 3 wideouts, then say f**k it an cram it down their throats. we can keep scraping first downs and get in field goal range on every drive

i will agree that the game was defense oriented. no one expected 3 TD's in the whole game. but it was a good game to watch because you saw what the best players in the country looked like. LSU looked out on their feet after the 3rd field goal, and jefferson's tackle was the best play he made all night.

oh massiv, bama had 35 rushes and 34 pass attempts. maybe all the play action tricked you too.

I got to go to the game. That was an experience in itself. LSU was outcoached. Saban switched from a run first offense to a pass first offense, whereas Les decided to run the same game plan with a nonexistent plan b. Alabama and LSU are both great football teams. No one else in the country even comes close. That being said, Alabama was better last night. Much better. Jordan Jefferson sucks. There's no way around that. He won't play pro ball. Lee isn't much better, but it would've been nice to see if he could change anything. LSU just couldn't get any spark going on offense. The two defenses are very evenly matched, but when one is on the field for almost the entire game, they're going to get tired.

I like seeing the Bama/LSU bandwagoners on Facebook. It's funny to me.

That's what Alabama always does and is exactly why they get points late. They just wear the other teams defensive line down play after play. It's amazing LSU could even hold up that long. As for getting all the way down the field just to kick FGs, that's also been an Alabama staple forever, it's pretty damn frustrating.

LSU does the same thing. That's how we won in November. I could've told you the game would be like that from the beginning. It was just a matter of who could get something sustainable going first.

All you care about is the offense, guess you missed the defense that had their way with LSU. That was the best part of the game. The stadium was going ape shit on all those 3 and outs.

they sure tricked me into thinking they have good receivers. there were some embarrasing drops.

and yes I was exaggerating, I saw the passing as well but there were no big plays. and yes I enjoyed watching bama defense, but it's not like they were THAT amazing. LSU's offense performed way under par. their QB couldnt sell a fake to save his life. boring ass game.

One more thing...to all of the SEC/Bama/LSU haters. If you know anything about football, then you know that what you watched last night was a matchup of two of the best college teams to ever play football. Both teams had incredible seasons and very easily dominated everyone they played (except each other). If you have an issue with that, then you are not a true college football fan.

def agree on that point. easily the 2 best college teams ever. the only problem is how much better the defenses are than the offenses.

wait a second. EASILY the best two college teams EVER?! thats quite a statement.

    95 nebraska, unbelievable. murdered everyone

the 2006 and 2008 florida teams had defenses capable of shutting out either of these offenses, with a much more potent offense.

i love tough, SEC football, but that was a stretch. there are plenty of other teams that could claim that. as much as i hate to say it, 99 florida state went wire to wire #1 for a reason. the old miami teams... it goes on and on. you cant have EASILY ONE OF THE BEST TWO TEAMS EVER if there is a defense that keeps them from scoring a touchdown in two straight games.

LSU's qb choked on big dick and played awful idk why they didnt take him out after the 3rd quarter but ets see how well alabama does without trent richardson next year.

Actually some of those passes over honey badgers head were pretty huge. We never get the ball downfield like that and was pretty sick for a sophomore qb connecting with a freshman. It sucks Maze got hurt, but it opened the door for other receivers.

I think it's saying something with Bama at 1, LSU 2 and Arkansas 5. All from the.same division and only lost to each other. SEC West killed it this season.

Edit...Chuck, Eddie Lacy well be a fine replacement. He's not Trent, but he's still a beast. LSUs qb got worked. His game plan got dismantled by the Bama defense. Bama said they hoped LSU would run the option and look what happened.

All the main analysts have been saying it... I tend to think they know more about college ball and sports and general than I do. Pretty much all the big people are saying these were the 2 best teams ever in the most highly anticipated game ever.

That said, I think '08 gators could have brought it to Bama.

haha. i had the same thing written out and decided not to do it.

i dont think they would have "raped" them. this bama team was almost as good as the 09 bama which beat florida (sans percy) pretty handedly. it would have been a better game though.

and ill tell you this. brad wing is the best punter ive ever seen in my life. that kid is unreal. the sebastian janikowski of punters.
