I remember that day! That was before I moved to orange county for school. The sets were soooooo huge.

The aliso sider is elusive but it can have some pretty amazing connections from time to time.

Chances are that unless you live in laguna you might never see it work. It's extremely fickle. Plus, whenever it works there are always pros on it and they have top priority.

Theres one up north a little from aliso. I forget what street it is though. I saw it work once or twice when i was there.

yea thats aliso i was there that day too. The sider was wroking for about a week and that was teh best day. And when the tide got to high (at the end of the video) the sider stopped working and there were some of the heaviest waves I have ever seen at aliso, slope was extremely steep too.

Um.. just so you guys know, Stephen from Laguna Beach: The Real O.C. was telling me all about that sider and he said it rarely works, only on a good south swell. Not to name drop.
