Re-applying a tail pad? Do or Dont?
I just bought a new board, and i put a Poorboy Launch tail pad on my old board about a month ago... im not gonna be using the old Vic foamy (smal, taking offer$) so, can i take the pad off and re-apply it to my new Ultra Vac?
yeah. your best bet is to use superglue or something like that to re-stick it

yes, you can do it. ONLY use 3m's aerosol product Super77 adhesive. Follow instructions carefully to get the best adhesion. Have done it with 3 grips and 1 sector deck pad.
It will come off way sooner than if you just buy a new one.

Just get a new pad. When I got my first board I made the mistake of putting the arch bar too far back. It is a bitch to get it off and then clean all the old glue off. I sanded my deck and reapplied it with spray on glue and have had to use superglue when the corners start to peel up every so often.
In short, just get a new pad and either sell your old deck with it on it, keep the board around for a friend or little brother or in case your new ride dings or breaks.

yeah as said above..........buy a new pad.
If you're lazy, buy a new pad
If you're not lazy, glue the old one back on.
And since these forums are new, I'll give my annual contact cement lecture...
Go to home depot or something like that, and buy some contact cement. They even sell it now is those little rubber-cement-type applicator bottles with the brush built into the cap. Follow the instructions, which will probably say something like apply it liberally to both surfaces and let dry, then stick the two surfaces together and apply strong pressure for 10 seconds.
Done. It works. Just do it, trust me. This stuff is probably holding your shoes together right now...
speed 3 dollars on an epoxy quik repair kit and do it that way....it will stick a long time
go buy some crazy glue stuff at the store that says WATERPROOF on it, they have them anywhere, i can honestly say they work the best, it makes sense

I have used the super77 came right up in about a day or two
you didn't do it right. if it holds in cabo, it'll hold in whatever smaller waves you have, if done right.
Just buy a new one, go for something more original or somethin...
