oohh snap not at alll, theres defff some damage to your rails
no it doesn't look right.
id email the company and see if they will help
is it like a gap or just carbon showing through?
It should look more like this
If you have those huge cracks in the rails there going to be a ton of water getting in the inside of your board, and also who is the board made by?
its an exile, i contacted them As soon as the board arrived and was assured it was normal, that they all looked like that.

Can you take some more pics?

Bad news.......you waited 3 months to show us! I think your warranty is up by now. Check with them anyway though.

That looks horrible, especially if they sent it to you like that.
i know that now.. i even sent them pictures of the board the day i recieved it, to be fully honest i had no clue what a carbon board typically looked like.. i contacted exile sent them pictures etc. they told me it was typical for all carbon boards, so i left it at that until my younger brother orderd his board which came out looking great, with none of the problems im having with mine
~~~~~ NJ ALL DAY~~~~~
I dont know if it would help at all but i do have the emails from exile stating that it was typical and nothing to worry about, i mean im not trying to put exile down at all they make the best boards in my opinion i just feel like something went wrong with mine when they made it
Something definitely went wrong in the process of making your board, or something. Did you tell Exile that there was an indent in the rails?
If your warranty is up......PM me and I'll show you how to fix it. It's a lot easier than you think.
Well, I have never seen an Exile come out like that. If they're telling you that that's normal then there board quality must be going down or something.
that is definitely seperated, might be heat related? over expanded foam, I would even venture to guess it may have been over exposed to heat during the shipping process. But, that is speculation of course
No need to post your emails. Just call up someone at the shop tomorrow and talk to them.
It looks like when I made foam skims, we would sometime get a air bubble on the edge of the board, which will wear the off fast and leave a cavity. It's just something that happens every now and then......you need to just refill the cavity. Like your tooth, if not fixed, it will cause major damage.
doesnt look right to me at all. My carbon has nothing but wavy black lines down the rail, which is where the carbon is showing through some of the paint...which is perfectly normal and fine.
Your board looks odd...all porous looking...like the rails werent formed correctly...the bottom appears separate from the rails and top of the board.
