    Default Dexter Season 6

After tonight's episode I decided I (and hopefully you) need more people to discuss the awesomeness of this season with.

The religious theme is definitely being spun well. I was shocked that they actually made it appear to viewers that Dexter's prayer at the coffee machine was answered. Curious as to if they'll keep developing his faith in a positive light or if it'll be up and down and tested as the season comes to an end.

I'm also digging how hot Batista's daughter is. Dexter needs to make some room in his schedule to tap that.

Someone say something about the first pot usage in the show's history. It looked like the new Chicago agent was suspicious... maybe he'll report it if they continue to butt heads.

I don't think the theme of the season really is "religious" stuff, but rather the struggle of giving meaning to life you saw Dexter and the toothfairy last week and the plot of that episode put it pretty clear.
Religion is one way to give life meaning, Dexter is struggling to find his.

    Nonetheless it's an interesting direction!

Dude I don't know.. The killer's follow the Christian bible, Harrison is going to a Catholic school, the mechanic is baptizing his employees... Dexter's meaning to life seems connected with his dark rider and Harrison's development, but almost all of his struggles this season involve his belief in a higher power and the form of his prayer was literally asking God for help in exchange for whatever he must do.

Season's mad interesting though, so much conflict happening it's almost hard to keep track.

I think Mos Def is one of the most interesting new characters.

I really like this season. Like all the new characters and digging Mos Def.

I love the theme of the season and was really intrigued by Mos Def's/Dexter conversation on faith.

The part about the wrong faith fracking you up was a bit alarming...
