got into a caspian border server and played for around 15 minutes before it crashed.... most glorious 15 minutes ever. the scale of the whole map is insane. didn't get to fly a jet though

I liked the gameplay, it feels like BF usually does. the actions are a too delayed IMO which gets annoying. the ACOG scope is virtually useless, because it's meant for long range, but you can only fire one shot at a time because of the kick. if you don't get headshots your enemy is gone before you have a chance to kill them. other than that, I like the gameplay, but down the the core, the COD games are still better shooters. I'm excited to start using vehicles.

also, I've only played the metro map, but the graphics are pretty mediocre. this is obviously because of fitting all that data into these HUGE maps, so that was to be expected, but I really thought the graphics looked better in the campaign gameplay previews I saw online. my first impression as soon as I started playing was "wow, black ops looks better than this"

I agree, the sound is very good. caspian border looks ridiculous, I cant wait to try it.

and I know console graphics are below PC... but COD grapics even on the console are most definitely better than what I've seen so far of bf3, and that comparison matters to me because graphic quality has a huge effect on long distance shooting, where one pixel might mean the difference between making or missing a headshot. Also, I find the colors on the metro map to be too unaturally bright (grass is like neon green) and it can be distracting.

not sure what you're looking at but i've seen the opposite regarding COD graphics vs BF3

the console gameplay honestly doesn't look all that terrible considering it's running on like 5 year old hardware. i doubt any 'decent' pc from 5 years ago would be able to run bf3 with similar visuals and as smoothly as a console today

this game is fun... but i guess i am a cod player because battlefield seems more appealing to the tryhard category... and i know you can dick around with sniping and in bfbc2 you could murder people with drills and frackin electrocute them... but it doesnt have the same retarded playstyles of CoD that we all love... what other game types are gonna be on BF3?

finally got the bolt action... heard it wasnt much better but whoever said that is wrong... actually getting one-shot kills and it's amazing... and the pistols on this game are actually worth using... and the glitches are getting fun. got some rubber men and the notorious guy lying on back glitch... looks fun

yeah it seems so easy to get away if you get hit by a sniper... either run away or go prone like everybody else in the game. and the bolt action reminds you to pull out our pistol like you should if you miss and your target is close.
