I think that some cape cod skimboarders should try to come and skim on Marthas vineyard I really want to see someone expirenced down here because I have seen no real talent. I just want to talk to someone who knows what theyre doing and for them to come skim on mv. details for the boat $7.00 for a walk on ticket.. I wouldnt try driving on this time of year. Earliest boat is 6:00 am from woods hole, latest boat is 9:30. Just post back for like dates.

Hey man bummer you we didnt get in contact before, we just held a skimboard contest in Welfleet Ma, there is a decent population of skimboarders at Nauset beach in Orleans. A friend and I have been talking about skimming the Vineyard for a number of years now, but it has never materialized, and we're both scattered across the country right now. He's moving back to Mass in the fall though, so that increases the likelihood of us getting there quite a bit. What's the lowdown on the vineyard with respect to swell direction, time of year, etc. for best conditions?

Swell Takes ENE-SW, preferrably the fall, and end of the first day of a hurricane swell after a long lull would probably be optimum
