    Talking Kite skimming?

Ok idk if any of you guys have ever done this but the other day i was watching a guy fly a kiteboard kite just standing there, and the idea popped into my head of kite skimming. Just wondering if any of you guys have ever tried this. I think it would be pretty sick on flatland and waves, but unfortunately i dont have a kite to do it with. Give me some opinions on how you guys think this idea would go down

wouldnt work cause the offshore wind would suck you back to shore. onshore wind sucks you out but you get pulled back out to sea after a wrap if the wind is strong enough.

Nevermind that you have your onshore/offshores completely wrong, that was just the dumbest response I've ever seen. Think before you type.

My friend does it all time at the nearby sandbar and on a windy day it works very well ... just remember to get a running start.

Use a kite board trainer kite. It's not as big but catches enough wind to pull you down the beach under control.

You have no idea how sailing/windsurfing/kitesurfing work. I would talk about setting your rail and tacking upwind, but that's obviously going to fly straight over your head. Once again...if you don't know the answer, don't bullshit it and spread your terribly uneducated ideas as truth. Just let people that have the answers take care of it.
