Broken? Or not?

So my semi-new exile has a chip in the very top, clear layer. Do I need to fix this before I go skimming again or is it a large concern? I could pick at it and chip away at it if that gives your a better description.

send pics to info@exileskimboards.com and Exile will be happy to tell you exactly whats up. Clear layer is however only cosmetic. Its called a gloss coat and will not affect performance.
