Comedy. I have an aversion to Maher. I think it's because he is unempathetic and a cloud of egotism. I don't think he is smart or funny- I should add I share many of the same beliefs as him. Last thing, he is awkward to watch; he has a panel but takes 75% of the screen time (among 5 people).

ive never seen this maher guy before this but after watching him for half of the clip he just comes across as a general asshat. and what skeezin said, he tries super hard to sound smart and funny and its painfully obvious that he is neither, more like ego and hot gas. the above just landed him a spot in my "another idiot on tv for the masses" bin, much like most of the idiots on fox/cnn (especially orielly, watching him is like watching jersey shore where its saddening but entertaining b/c its so stupid, petty, and fake).

and i dont think its about his comparison being fair/unfair, its about the fundamental flaws and such in his ideas he "presented" (ie puffed his chest out) as reality and legitimate fact that make the two sides of his "argument" both relatively pointless and missing the bigger and more important picture.
