Goal is not exactly reachted, but definitely big steps closer. http://www.computerarts.co.uk/blog/r...al-font-112489

they were excited about the work i did but didn'thave any room in the typography issue, so therefore they said i could wait 8 months or have them publish it on their blog...

well i have accomplished one of my main goals so far. I wanted to be able to deadlift 405lbs properly with good form. I did 2 reps of that after an my regular deadlift workout. For the second goal i don't think i'm going to reach 190 because i believe i'm throwing on muscle while loosing my bodyfat. I'm pretty happy because i've spent most of my deployment working out everyday n it's nice to see that it's paying off

Get to 14'10 in pole vault by the end of my junior year. I'm at 13'2 now so its gonna be tough, but a good goal to set and it'd be cool to get the school record.

I hated statics. Got a C in statics, but got an A- in dynamics wtf. I had statistics for engineers last spring. As long as you know statistics it will be really easy. If not, it will take a little more work, but nothing compared to statics. Make sure you go over statics well because it will be used in a ton of other classes later down the road.

    My goals:
-Raise GPA from 3.43 to 3.5
-Complete honors thesis to graduate summa cum laude
-Get an internship set up for next summer somewhere in the Aerospace industry
-Don't let partying and girls take away from school

    1) Ride bike to the beach or to bus stops to get to the beach at least 2 times a week. I am about 25 minute drive from the beach.
    2) Improve form, improve releases, approaches to waves and find skim buddies.
    3)Acquire snorkeling gear
4)Learn to roll joints so I can stop using apples when I'm at the beach. Vaping apple juice is kind of gross

Just got a board so I don't need to borrow anymore. I am unbelievably stoked. I am no longer bound by the frequency of my friends' beach visits.

I have been trying for a while to be honest. I am exceptionally bad at twisting it up tight. Many people have attempted to teach me. I have tried with cheap tobacco for 30 mins several times. Joint rolling inept.

I always gave up and just used glass but I don't like bringing my pieces to the beach since they're pretty expensive. It will be learned, its just going to take a lot more failure. heh

new goal: transition out of commercial software development and into a scientific programming position, preferably something related to the human body.

Timeline on this is tough since I haven't had a bio class since 9th grade, or a chemistry class since 10th. I've been a software developer for 10+ years, so if I can find a position that doesn't require a degree in its respective science field that would be optimal, otherwise I'm going to have to somehow find a way to get a bio or chem degree while still working full time.

    Any ideas?

anything like this? it may be more of an entry level position, but if youre making a big change in specialization, that may be necessary. its in hampton though. todays forecast - dark, with chance of driveby

Goal: Finally make a demo, i've been sitting around with four songs and two have actually been recorded. I want to be happy with it and make most of it on my own with a little help from friends.

ETA: Due to me lacking proper resources to actually make something with good quality i get frustrated. I have two condenser mics that my brother gave to me and a two channel interface. I want to have most of it done by January and be completely done by February.

Does anyone know a decent recording software i could get for cheap or for free? I have tried reaper and it usually bugs out on me.

Please neg me if i don't post updates on this project. I procrastinate all too much

I believe I have the talent and the ambition, I just need to get the frack out of Florida. A couple of my buddies who i've skated with for a few years have both picked up big name sponsors in the last few months and have done damn good for some Florida boys. My friend Will qualified 17th at Maryhill Festival of Speed and Placed 7th at Jake's Rash and got sponsored by Bustin. My other friend Cam got sponsored by Rayne and got 2nd in the slalom event at the Guajataca event in Puerto Rico, he's also advanced pretty damn far in other IGSA events. I can skate as well as either of them so I have high hopes, just gotta make it happen.
Yeeeeee buddddy, http://bustinboards.com emailed me a couple weeks ago and they wanna sponsor me. Theyve sent me some wheels, a deck, shirts, etc etc. I am le stoked. My friend Will already skates for them and is stoked on the arrangement they have going. Bustin emailed me, my old roommate Joey and our friend Riley from Clermont area. Basically Bustin DH might as well be Team Florida. They should be sending me to some races and such soon, super fracking excited.
