Bad rep me, I don't care: Exile is a bandwagon
I'm not saying they don't make good boards or have good riders, I'm just saying everyone buys and supports Exile without even researching other board companies... I think there's a lot of other really good companies that nobody likes because they've been brainwashed into believing you can't get better than Exile Skimboards. Tell me what you think. I'm not here to argue, just get off what's on my mind.

i think youre on the "exile bandwagon" bandwagon.
this happens with plenty of board companies, there was an apex bandwagon for a while and look what happened to that. people saw they were shitty boards and hopped off pretty fast. exile though has a quality product, a solid team and great marketing. and it is very understandable why people would love them.

Yes, I am the one who posted the design on Exiles page. I told you, I don't hate them and I think it would be cool to have them use my design. I just think that too many people like them without exploring other options, that's all. They have quality products and a solid reputation but so do a lot of other board companies like Victoria, Apex and Grape. They're all really nice companies but people who support Exile hate them blindly, that's what makes me angry. I have a friend who can't skim worth crap and bought an exile carbon as his first board. Guess what, he can't stand my Victoria skimboard. He says they're heavy and have crappy float. How would he know what to think, he can't skim! A lot of people are like this. They board the Exilewagon and run over anyone who supports a different skimboard company.
I side with Victoria mostly. But I'm looking at buying a Grape or Apex and replacing my carbon vic.
Who cares what board somebody has as their first. I'd say the boards here are warming up to you nicely though.

No, my friend bought the board as his first. He still has it and hasn't used any other board other than mine and my other friends SlotStik. I asked him to help me buy a Morgan Just pro model a long time ago and I would pay him back. He told me to hurry up, though, because he didn't want it around too long because it was a crappy board and that he didn't like victoria skimboards.

There's a whole lot more skimboard companies that Zap, Exile, Vic, Grape, Apex and Slotstik. Sorry, Brett00 that I didnt mention Zap. I also didn't mention Square, Roush, or Finless. Satisfied? There's still a lot more.
and yes bandwagons do come along apex and square are some that i remember but nothing compares to the quality of a exile. i've had victoria's that well didnt "last" as long as id like due to quality. so if im going to spend 500 buckaroos on a board, im spending that money on a board i know wont disappoint me.

@Chrith Sounds like you want people to know you're on the Exile bandwagon. What's wrong with Vic? They've been around for A LOT longer than Exile. They basically invented the sport and they have a lot of crucial upbringing in it. I'm willing to bet Exile got their inspiration from Victoria. But hey, sorry I'm a doucher and I happened to offend you. Whoops!
