I was only half joking. Further googlage informed me that game ROMs are not the same as the ROMs you all are talking about, which is a whole new OS for the phone

sidenote: getting pokemon on my phone literally turned it into the most addictive thing I own

ok after a little digging, it makes sense now. The phone turns itself off when it thinks the battery runs out. If your battery is not calibrated correctly, it might think the battery's dead when it's not. That's what calibrating the battery does, it gives the phone more accurate stats on battery usage for the OS to use in determining what the current battery level is. So yes, it does change the stats you see, but this is really for the OS, not for you.

Yeah you figured it out before i got back on here. Anyways I've been around this android world since the beginning so if anybody has anything they're trying to figure out I'd be willing to help out.

Don't Drain the battery to 0 to often either, it can actually have a detrimental effect on the longevity of lithium Ion batteries as well.

Its so sick dude, only thing I've experienced is that the buffering seems to be a lot worse than streaming music apps like pandora, and i don't really know what its attributed to. Took a while to load up all the music too but can't really complain about that.

Given that a huge chunk of my collection is live music, I can't get past the lack of gapless playback in the cloud players and almost every music app out there. Poweramp was the best $5 I've spent in the market. Plus it has the most powerful equalizer I've seen by far.

well there's a couple of gameboy advance emulatosr, but you would have to find the game ROM elsewhere. so far I couldn't get any ROMs I googled to work... and I really wanted to get my pokes on

SO... I downloaded this app called tiger gbc. It's a gbc emulator, which is all I need, because I just wanted to play some old school pokes. It actually has a search function with confirmed working roms. That's how I merk pokemon crystal on my daily commute.

Well shit, sorry haha. For pokemon I just use to use Gameboid lite and romgripper, but I don't think romgripper can be downloaded anymore. I still have it though lolssss as well as SMS Bomber

I don't believe there's a ROM out there for the Hero that can use sense if it's beyond 2.1. Since the phone was never updated past 2.1 using 2.2 and 2.3 means you have to drop sense or at least that's what I've gathered. I've been loving this rom today. It's like having a new phone since the keyboard is different, phone call app is different, just unlocking it is different. I like that it only has 5 pages instead of 7, I never used all 7. Best of all Pandora and incoming calls didn't force close at all today. I've been having an issue of incoming calls crashing the phone app plus random reboots and going to gingerbread has fixed it.

For an older, slower phone it's also snappy as shit now without all the bloat ware, this ROM came bare bones.

every ROM I got from romgripper didnt work. I tried gameboid lite, but every time I fired up a rom it would just stay frozen on the startup screen.

What app are you currently using to aid you in going to the beach? the Internet for tide/swell info from surfline.com

    What are your likes/dislikes?
Likes: it provides tides/swell info, a little blurb on if it's going to be blown out or glassy and swells are getting bigger, peaking, or declining
Dislikes: takes very long to load, cam doesn't always work

What would you like it to be able to do if its missing something?
tell me if there's good shorebreak cuz i'm gonna go skim and not suf

And just for fun, what phone/os version are you using?

Thanks, I'll try to take a look at it the next time I play with someone's iPhone or iPod touch.
