i usually go into best buy knowing that i know more about alot of the stuff than the employees than ask them questions they wouldnt know the answer too so they look stupid. AND I NEVER BUY ANYTHING

Lol well to be fair the only section I only ever ask for help in is computer section... and I admit I don't keep up with computer hardware at all. I would never ask for help in the vidya game section because I KNOW I'm gonna know more there.

i never go in there unless i know exactly what i'm getting. then again i do that with all stores. but best buy especially.

There are two people in the bestbuy store that know anything about computers. My cousin is one of them and he works in geeksquad but he doesn't talk to people. He fixes all the computers that get sent in. He hates talking to people and after working retail I would too. So, yes, the bestbuy clerks 9/10 know nothing about computers. thank god for smartphones. Look up the bad reviews on the phone/computer right away.

The only employees that know anything know the information already. Best buy doesn't require any formal knowledge. A hiring manager literally told my friend, "We mostly just google everything."
