OK skimmers...The Florida Skimboarders Crossover Tour is back. The Lagoon is booked and S.P.o.T. is getting ready for us. The dates are Tampa Aug 17th, Orlando Aug 18th, Vilano Aug 19th, 20th 21st. yo do you have to compete in all 3 to be a cross over athlete? i love surfing and skimming but concrete is my worst enemy hah

Ya Rob, you gotta do all events...come on man suck it up.

The Skate Park of Tampa is a legendary venue. This event is the only event allowed there besides the Tampa Pro and Damn Am events

The entry fee for this event is a total of $200.00 (Includes Fl Pro/Am entry), this event should be at least a $300.00 event with the locations being so legendary and private, (but I'm maintaining the original $200.00 entry fee from 2000 for one more year).
Download a Fl Pro/Am entry and write Crossover at the top. We will have your S.P.o.T. and Lagoon waivers at time of event.

August 17th.The skate event at S.P.o.T. is ran just as they run the Tampa Pro and Damn Am events. It is open to the public so anyone can come watch and show support. Be at the park no later then 11:00am for free warm-up.

August 18th.The Lagoon event is a private event with only admittance being the 15 skimmiers and my support staff. Friends and family will not be allowed to watch. Downtown Disney is just accross the street from Typhoon Lagoon so they can hangout there until the event is over. Be at the park no later then 6:00pm.

For those of you that have never competed in this event, I urge you to contact the ones that have. This event is five days of hot summer weather traveling across Florida competing in three legendary events. You will have the BEST time(ask Domke), but it's is a physically and mentally challenging week so be prepared

They hold more than just those events actually. Like the schools out and back to school comps.

We always film both events and show a mini movie Saturday night during the Fl Pro/am so everyone can watch what went down.

Well Austin Keen just contacted me and he will be able to partake in this event. Moving Baxter back to the dugout.
Also Dan McDonnel from Dewey Beach Surf Shop has been awarded an alternate spot.
Things are starting to get crazy over hear, there's a lot going on...CRAZY STUFF...tons of media and a few super cool surprises we will let out after the completion of the World Championships this weekend.

To everyone.....Each year we do the Florida Crossover Tour there seems to be some confusion. These 2 additional events, S.P.o.T. and Typhoon Lagoon are by invite only, they are scored seperately and awarded seperately The Florida Skimboarding Pro/Am (Florida Pro/Am) in an open event like all othe UST events. 11 amateur divisions plus UST PRO div and Women's PRO div.

So get your entry forms and get them in. Last year 17+ entries were turned into me as I showed up for the rider check-in, that will not be allowed anymore. It took the better part of Saturday to re-write the heat cards considering their were over 40 entries in that division.
