    Smile Beach and Board HELP!!!

    ok so i have a vistoria foamie 48" x 18"
and its a medium sized board carrying 120-145lbs people

    .. i weigh 160 lbs.

does it really make a major difference if i buy the same board but the large one that carries 145-170 lbs?

my budget is 160$ so let me know whats really good

and i live in pasadena, L.A. county

and i want a beach with a steep shore so that the waves are close cause i cant really ride out over water i sink after 2 seconds
so i need waves that are right at the wash out
and i cant really ride waves either

i just take them for jumps so ya i love the family of skim boarders
its awesome so help me out please
    =] thank..

ya unless you really sink fast or something, then just keep you board or get the new foamie 2. You can get it on skimshop.com and i think it is like 140
Safety is for people who don't know what they are doing.

but im still a beginner ive probably gona like 15 times total to skim board
    if not less
but im starting to want to float out to deep water more so i dont really know
    how it trully works

and to say the truth i dont know aNYTHING about board i just bought my board because its sexy and fiberglass and medium was all they had

    and its just a foamie
is the foamie 2 the same thing but newer version?
and i should probably get something thats for my weight, right?

keep learning on the board you have it doesn tmatter that you weigh a little more and save your money. when you get better buy a board better than a foamie. Buying another foamie one size bigger or two sizes bigger won make much of a difference.
